Forum Rock Paper Scissors Championship

Get ready for something new and exciting—introducing the Forum Rock Paper Scissors Championship!

RULES

1. All participants must register in advance.
2. ⁠Players must agree on the number of primes(hand movements) to be used before the game begins. The default is three.
3. ⁠Players will stand opposite each other with fists outstretched at waist height, maintaining at least 1 cubit of distance. game starts with a verbal or visual cue (“Ready”).
4. Each match will be “one-on-one,” following a “best-of-three rounds” format. If a tie occurs after three rounds, an additional round will be played. The final match will be “best-of-five rounds.”
⁠5. Throws are defined as follows:.

Rock: a closed fist

Paper: a flat hand

Scissors: an open fist with the index and middle fingers extended.

Outcomes are determined as follows:

Rock beats Scissors.

Scissors beat Paper.

Paper beats Rock.

If both players throw the same move, it’s a tie, and the game is replayed.

6.⁠ ⁠Players must keep their hands visible at all times, and no contact should occur during matches. Physical contact or interference may lead to disqualification.
7.⁠ ⁠The tournament is single elimination, meaning losing players are knocked out while winners advance.
8.⁠ ⁠Distractions or false starts are not allowed. Participants must show good sportsmanship; unsportsmanlike behaviour may lead to disqualification. External coaching or assistance is prohibited during matches. A referee will oversee all matches to ensure rules are followed and their decisions are final and binding.
9.⁠ ⁠The final match will be "best-of-five rounds" to declare the overall champion. Winners will be determined by the presiding official, and results are binding and cannot be contested after the official declaration.
10.⁠ ⁠Exciting prizes will be awarded to winners and runners-up in each age category, along with special Forum Kochi goodies for the champions.
11.⁠ ⁠Forum Kochi RPS 2024 is a proprietary event, and all copyrights remain with Forum Kochi. Associate partners are "partners of the event" and are not permitted to replicate or organize the event in any form without prior written permission from Forum Kochi.
